With a résumé that includes two Michelin stars, a James Beard Award, and mentorships under legends Alain Ducasse and Daniel Boulud, Stratta brings unmatched culinary firepower to North Scottsdale.
Known for his refined technique and bold global flavors, Chef Alex Stratta has led acclaimed kitchens from Monaco to Las Vegas. He earned national recognition at Renoir in The Mirage, which received Mobil Travel Guide’s highest 5-star rating under his direction. He later went on to earn 2 Michelin stars at his namesake restaurant, Alex, at Wynn Las Vegas, one of the highest distinctions in the culinary world. Now, he brings that same signature style to Belmont Kitchen & Cocktails — a modern, ingredient-driven concept rooted in hospitality, soul, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

BKC was co-founded by Lewkowicz, a family member of Café Monarch, along with his longtime friend and Arizona business leader Neal Thompson. With BKC, they set out to create something equally thoughtful but entirely fresh, pairing premium ingredients with genuine hospitality in a more relaxed, modern setting. The restaurant quickly gained traction for its craft cocktail program and warm, elevated vibe. Now, with Chef Alex Stratta as Executive Chef, it sets the culinary foundation for Rosewood Concepts — a hospitality group dedicated to bringing elevated dining experiences to North Scottsdale and beyond.
