Caldwell County BBQ Announces Grand Opening of Peoria Location on February 5th

The Beloved Arizona Barbecue Restaurant Expands West with a New 4,800-Square-Foot Ground-Up Construction

PEORIA, AZ (February 5) — Caldwell County BBQ, a beloved Arizona barbecue restaurant known for its authentic Central Texas-style barbecue, is excited to celebrate the grand opening of its first West Valley location in Peoria with a ribbon cutting at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 5. This marks Caldwell County BBQ’s third location and its first expansion beyond Southeast Gilbert and Queen Creek.

The new Peoria restaurant is a ground-up construction project spanning 4,800 square feet, complemented by a 1,200-square-foot patio designed for outdoor dining. Guests will enjoy indoor and outdoor bars featuring TV’s and BBQ-inspired specialty cocktails crafted by Caldwell County BBQ’s bartenders. The space also boasts bi-fold window doors and a private dining room that can accommodate up to 34 guests for special events.

“We’re thrilled to bring Caldwell County BBQ to Peoria and share our passion for authentic barbecue,” said Travis Taylor, Owner of Caldwell County BBQ. “From the welcoming atmosphere to the slow-cooked meats, our goal is to make Caldwell County BBQ a true destination for great food and memorable experiences here in the rapidly expanding West Valley.”

Peoria Mayor Jason Beck will also be in attendance at the event to recognize how Caldwell County BBQ will add to the momentum of the city’s long-term revitalization efforts downtown.

This grand opening kicks off the long-awaited revitalization of our Downtown area and displays the importance of attracting businesses that invest in our community, create jobs and attract new visitors,” said Beck. “I am thrilled to see this vision finally coming to life and to watch Downtown Peoria continue to grow as an important destination within our city.”

Following the ribbon opening ceremony, Caldwell County BBQ will be open starting at 11 a.m. and will host an after-party celebration with live music from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The family-friendly grand opening event will also feature inflatables for children and a variety of yard games on the restaurant’s spacious patio, offering guests an opportunity to enjoy the new space.

Guests can expect Caldwell’s signature menu featuring their 12-hour slow-smoked brisket, St. Louis-cut ribs, pulled pork, jalapeño cheddar sausage, and smoked turkey ready to pair with scratch-made sides like Aunt Susan’s Corn Casserole, Lala’s Pinto Beans and Julio’s Mac and Cheese.
