J&G Steakhouse Unveils Stylish Refresh On Sept. 11
(PRESS RELEASE) - The award-winning fine dining destination, J&G Steakhouse at The Phoenician, will reopen on Tuesday, September 11, 2018, following a three-month-long refresh and revitalization. Now open nightly for dinner from 5 - 10 pm, J&G Steakhouse is also premiering Executive Chef Jacques Qualin's exciting new seasonal menu, including all-new standouts such as a 30-ounce Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye and a towering Rack of Lamb served 'haystack-style' in a bed of fragrant and still-smoking herbs and hay (both entrées serve two people). Plus, J&G Steakhouse, recently named a 2018 Wine Spectator "Best of Excellence Award" winner, is also serving up a tasty new cocktail menu handcrafted by head mixologist, Robert Porter, including a jalapeno-spiked Fiery Mandarin, and a south-of-the-border twist on a true classic, the Mezcal Negroni.
Inspired by the dramatic desert landscape just beyond J&G's famed floor-to-ceiling window walls, the all-new interiors were crafted by Parker Torres Design, the internationally-renowned firm behind The Phoenician's luxurious new lobby, lounge, spa and pool. At J&G, from the moment they step off the elevators at this fine dining penthouse, guests are enveloped in a stylish yet sophisticated décor, starting with the revamped J&G lounge featuring all-new seating and a striking new glass teardrop chandelier suspended over the rich red onyx stone bar-top. Back inside the multi-level main dining room, the updated color palette showcases the deep reds and neutral creams and grays of its Sonoran Desert surroundings, complemented by low-slung midcentury modern-inspired booths and seating, accented with brassy chandeliers and polished metal elements. Plus, J&G's scenic outdoor dining patio now offers refinished fire pits, expanded seating on modern new 'string' chairs, and the addition of ceiling fans to transform this space into a year-round alfresco dining destination.
Aside from the spectacular new Wagyu Tomahawk Ribeye and 'haystack-style' Rack of Lamb, J&G Steakhouse's premiere fall menu boasts all-new flavors such as Roasted Porcini & Chestnut Risotto with fresh herbs, Roasted Red Snapper with baby leeks, mushroom vinaigrette, chimayo oil, Grilled Beef Tenderloin with crunchy potatoes, smoky tomato compote, and a revamped cheeseburger now ground with flavorful beef brisket. Plus, J&G has added a decadent Alaskan King Crab Legs entrée, and you can now top any steak with crab legs or grilled lobster for the ultimate surf and turf feast.
