Macayo’s Mexican Food is offering tamalada classes and take-home tamale kits, making easy and scrumptious work of tamale season. Each class begins at 3 p.m. on the date and location listed above. Classes include tamale assembly tutorial of red beef and green corn tamales that participants can then take home to enjoy as well as lunch and a Margarita de Macayo. Cost is $50 per person. Tamale enthusiasts can also purchase tamale kits which include all materials and instructions to make six tamales (red beef or green corn) at home. Each kit is $15 and can be purchased at any Macayo’s Mexican Food location throughout the season.
