Arizona Friends of Foster Care Foundation (AFFCF) announces its popular (and delicious) Slider Throwdown is returning to the valley on Sunday, Nov. 13. Held on High Street, located at 56th St. and the Loop 101, from noon to 3 p.m., attendees can enjoy a variety of burger samplings, live music from Maggie Speaks, entertainment and a silent auction in support of the non-profit whose effort assist foster youth throughout the state. 

Participating food trucks will feature enticing options such as beef, chicken, veggie and more and slider experts will serve as judges to crown the winner. Attendees can vote on their favorite “burger bite” for the “People’s Choice” Award. Participating food trucks include: Randizzle, Buzz N Bee, Aioli Burger, Two Fat Guys, This Guy’s, Chef Smokin’ Something, Gibson’s Smokehouse and Kingpin BBQ.
