Swing by TEXAZ to celebrate National Cheeseburger Day with specially-priced burgers served all lunch long from 11 am - 4 pm for only $8. "We take our beef and our burgers seriously in Texas," says TEXAZ Grill's owner and cook, Steve Freidkin. "So each TEXAZ burger starts with six-ounces of fresh, pure ground chuck from our friends over at Hobe Meats, grilled to order and served on a sesame seed bun with shredded lettuce, tomato, onion and a pickle on the side," and stack on your choice of cheese including American, Longhorn, Jalapeno-Jack. Then add more fixings including blue cheese crumbles, mashed avocado, sautéed onions or mushrooms, or TEXAZ-style (topped with house-made chili, plus cheese and onions), all for an additional cost. Be sure to ask for the Secret Sauce too!
