Join Culinary Hall of Fame 2016 Chef of the Year Mel Mecinas and Elizabeth Hernández of Las 15 Salsas Restaurant Oaxaqueño as they host a special night with James Beard award-nominated Chef Silvana Salcido Esparza to celebrate the culture and flavors of Oaxaca, Mexico. The evening kicks off with a mezcal and hors d’ouevres reception, followed by a five-course menu and cash bar, and will feature Mezcal Carreño, Mezcal El Rey Zapoteco, Chef Silvana’s Sangre de Bruja wine, and the wines of Valle de Guadalupe. Proceeds will help support the second annual Guelaguetza Oaxaquena en Arizona cultural festival that will take place on October 6, 2019.. Tickets are $65 per person and can be purchased at EventBrite.
