On Wednesday, June 22nd, Helton Brewing is throwing their first tapping party to introduce their Summer Ale. Pints will be available for $3 on Wednesday only. There will also be a food truck from JL Smokehouse, a film crew on site, and the tapping of a very unique beer from Knee Deep Brewery. Doors open at 3 pm and the food truck will arrive at 6 pm.
Helton's Summer Ale has a character that is reminiscent of a hoppier, slightly stronger, slightly fruitier cousin to an American Light beer. It was brewed with English malts, wheat and oats and the added Galena Hops lends a slightly fruity character. It is well carbonated and refreshing on the palate,making it perfect for the hot summer days in Arizona.
