Southern Rail invites guests to enjoy the weather, listen to soothing jazz and savor cocktails and comfort food from their patio for the biannual Jazz & Jambalaya series. The series begins on Sunday, March 12 and features sazeracs and jambalaya, a traditional New Orleans dish with creole tomatoes and rice served with smoked chicken, Andouille sausage and sautéed shrimp.
Jazz & Jambalaya will take place every Sunday from March 12 through April 30, excluding Easter, and the jazz bands will play from 5-8 p.m. Featured local jazz artists include the Joe Costello Project, Notes from Neptune and The Phoenician Four.
Sazeracs will be available for $7 while jambalaya can be purchased for $19. The regular menu will also be available. Open to the public, reservations recommended for patio seating at 602-200-0085
