On November 18, the first Downtown Donut Festival will take place on the Sunday before Thanksgiving from 11am to 3pm at Margaret T. Hance Park in downtown Phoenix as an addition to the 4th Annual Phoenix Pizza Festival, which takes place on November 17, 2018.

Approximately 15 local donut makers will be serving $1 donuts, samples of donuts, donut holes, and all manner of donut creations. Early Bird General Admission tickets are $8.  Tickets and details are available at www.downtowndonutfest.com.

The Phoenix Pizza Festival is the first festival in Arizona dedicated to pizza! Approximately 15 pizza makers will sell all types of pizzas, offered at $2-$4 slices and above (half-pies, full-pies, etc. depending on their preference). Arizona craft cideries are joining together to host an inaugural Southwest Cider Festival on Saturday, November 10, where people can sample and learn about craft ciders from Arizona, California and other neighboring states. The event will be at Cider Corps in Downtown Mesa. Guests will have the chance to sample cider from more than a dozen craft cideries from Arizona, California, Texas, Colorado, Washington and New York as well as enjoy bites from local food trucks and live music. A portion of all tickets sales will go to Operation Homefront, a non-profit organization supporting military families in our communities. 

 The Southwest Cider Festival will take place on Saturday, November 10 from 1 – 6 p.m. at Cider Corps in Downtown Mesa (31 S. The 8th Annual Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships has become the country’s most attended polo event and the world’s most interesting, called by the Captain of the Wales Team “the best polo event in the world.”

This year’s Polo Party will play host to six polo matches including a first-time appearance by world famous polo player Nacho Figueras, who was also named one of the most beautiful people in the world by Vanity Fair Magazine. Figueras will be representing the reigning Aspen Valley Polo Team as they battle the Centtrip Wales to take home the Molina Trophy for the fourth time. Award-winning food, beverage and travel writer Christina Barrueta shares tips and tricks for photographing food on the go with your smartphone. Learn to prop, prep and play with plates of food created by Executive Chef Jeremy Pacheco to create drool-worthy images as seen in Christina’s social media and Write on Rubee website, which has won Favorite Food Website by Arizona Foothills Magazine and Best Food Blog by Phoenix Magazine.
